What sizing should I get?
We thoughtfully design each piece to align with average sizing, but we know every little one grows at their own pace. For the best fit, we encourage you to refer to the sizing guide on each product page.

How do I care for my garment?
Handle our garments with love.
A gentle wash in cold water, with kind, earth-friendly soap is all they need.
Tumble dryers are too harsh — air dry, swaying softly in the breeze works best.
As our garments are made from natural fabrics like cotton and linen — delicate by nature, and full of character, please wash with care, so thy can stay soft and beautiful, just like your little one.

Each piece begins with hands, not haste — stitched slowly, shaped with care, by artisans whose rhythm is guided not by machines, but by meaning. To us, ethical making is not just process — it is patience, compassion, and respect. In our workshop, culture is not a backdrop. It is the thread that holds everything together.
Are your items sustainably made?
We source from local fabric houses, choosing only 100% cotton or linen — natural, breathable, and kind to little ones.
We take pride in a slower rhythm — creating pieces that last, that grow with your child, and that carry on. We invite you to purchase mindfully, and to pass along your cherished garments to siblings and friends when they’ve been outgrown.

We create in limited runs—reducing overproduction and ensuring that every piece is made with intention.
Natural & Low-Impact Dyes
Our colors are inspired by nature—soft neutrals and earth tones—achieved through low-impact dyes that are safer for sensitive skin and gentler on the environment.
Thoughtful Packaging
Your orders are packed with care in recycled kraft boxes or reusable cloth pouches. We minimize plastic wherever possible, because we believe every detail matters.
Waste-Reducing Design
We repurpose fabric offcuts into small accessories—like bows and pouches—so nothing goes to waste.
Returns & Exchange
Can I return or exchange an item?
At Janiel Mattan, we create each piece with care, and we want you to love what you receive. If there’s an issue with your order, please contact us at hello@janielmattan.com within 7 days of receiving your item, and we’ll do our best to assist.
We accept returns or exchanges under the following conditions:

The item is unused, unwashed, and in original packaging.

The return request is made within 7 days of delivery.
Please note:

Shipping costs for returns will be borne by the customer, unless the item is defective or incorrect.

We do not accept returns or exchanges for personalized items, final sale items, or pre-loved items.
Refunds will be processed to your original payment method once the returned item is received and inspected.

What is your order cancellation policy?
We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel your order, please reach out to us at hello@janielmattan.com within 12 hours of placing it.
Since each piece is prepared with care and may be made to order or packed quickly, we’re unable to cancel or amend orders once they’ve been processed or shipped.
If your cancellation is successful, we’ll issue a full refund to your original payment method.

What happens if I receive a damaged product?
We're so sorry if something arrived less than perfect. If your item is damaged or defective, please email us at care@janielmattan.com within 3 days of receiving your order.

We’ll get back to you as soon as possible to arrange for a replacement or refund, depending on the situation. Your satisfaction means everything to us.
Please note that we reserve the right to decline returns that do not meet the conditions outlined in our return policy. Janiel Mattan is not responsible for lost or missing return parcels, and we strongly recommend using a registered postal service with tracking when sending items back to us.

For any missed deliveries, we will arrange a reschedule, subject to additional charges.

Yes, we do! We’re happy to offer international shipping so our pieces can travel near and far.

All prices displayed on our website are in SGD and are inclusive of GST and local tax.
For International Orders
Please note that import duties, taxes, and any additional customs fees are not included in our prices and may be charged separately by your local customs office upon delivery. Janiel Mattan is not responsible for these charges, and we kindly advise customers to check with their country’s import regulations before placing an order.
As required by law, we will always declare the full value of your order on customs forms. We are unable to alter or falsify this information under any circumstance, and we reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders that request this.
